ISO/IEC 27001: Understanding Information Security Claims
ISO/IEC 27001 describes requirements for an information security management system. It concerns how an organization manages security risks across people, processes and technology.
A framework and a certificate are different
An organization can use the standard without obtaining certification. A certification claim should be supported by a current certificate from the issuing certification body. Check the named organization, covered services, validity and scope.
What this means for Informego
This article does not establish that Informego holds a current ISO/IEC 27001 certificate. A standard or certificate is not a guarantee that incidents cannot occur.
